Alex joins Bloom Sluggett with a strong background in municipal law and appellate litigation, shaped by extensive experience working within both state and federal judicial systems. His background includes clerkship service with the Michigan Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, where he worked on a wide range of complex legal matters involving public sector governance and dispute resolution.
Throughout his career, Alex has developed experience with municipal issues such as zoning, annexation, utility disputes, and other matters central to local government operations. He has also represented commercial clients in contract and corporate governance disputes, bringing a well-rounded perspective to his practice.
Alex’s background in appellate work and municipal legal issues strengthens the firm’s commitment to providing thoughtful, practical counsel to public sector clients across Michigan.
