Eli Martinez

Eli is an associate attorney with Bloom Sluggett, focusing her practice on general municipal law. 

Eli received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2025. During her time in law school, she held leadership roles on both the Board of Advocates and the Student Bar Association, advanced to the semifinal and quarterfinal rounds in intra-school moot court competitions and was named to the Dean’s List for three semesters. Most recently, Eli completed the 40-hour training necessary to serve as a civil facilitative mediator under MCR 2.411.

Before attending law school, Eli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, with a minor in Criminal Justice. Although initially relocating to Michigan for her education, she quickly established roots in the state and now resides in Grand Rapids. In her free time, Eli enjoys visiting Lake Michigan, spending time with friends, and exploring new restaurants in the area.
