The offices of Bloom Sluggett are looking a little brighter after new artwork commissioned by the uber-talented Reb Roberts was installed. The bold colors and large scale design are signature of Reb’s unique style, and the privilege of having a piece designed specifically for us makes it even more special.
A self-taught artist, Roberts’ work has been placed in multiple galleries, private collections and public spaces. For 18 years he and his wife, Carmella Loftis, ran Sanctuary Folk Art in the Heartside district of downtown Grand Rapids where they sold not only his pieces, but also the work of the men and women in the community who were experiencing homelessness.
We couldn’t be happier with the artwork Roberts created for our offices and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with him on this one-of-a-kind piece.
